A Day at TOBschool: Sample Daily Schedule

At TOBschool, each day is intentionally structured to balance learning, exploration, creativity, and play. While every day brings new discoveries through our project-based approach, the rhythm below reflects a typical day for our preschool and Pre-K students. The schedule for before (7 - 8:30 AM) and after care (3:30 - 6 PM) is available upon request.

Daily 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Schedule Sample

8:30 AM – Drop-Off & Circle Time

Children ease into the day with morning greetings, songs, stories, and a look ahead at the day’s activities. This community time helps students feel grounded, connected, and ready to learn.

9:00 AM – Snack

A nutritious snack gives students the energy they need and offers opportunities to practice independence and social skills

9:30 AM – Literacy

Through storytelling, letter recognition, early writing experiences, and phonemic awareness activities, children build foundational language and literacy skills.make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

10:00 AM – Math

Hands-on exploration invites children to count, sort, measure, compare, and solve real-world problems using engaging manipulatives and activities.

10:30 AM – Outdoor Play

Children enjoy physical activity on our secure playground—running, climbing, biking, and exploring. Outdoor time supports motor development, confidence, and teamwork.

11:00 AM – Science

Students investigate the world through experiments, observations, and STEM activities that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

11:30 AM – Dramatic Play

Pretend play supports social-emotional development, creativity, language growth, and problem-solving as children take on roles and build imaginative worlds.

12:00 PM – Lunch

Children gather for a calm, supervised mealtime that encourages healthy habits, independence, and meaningful conversation.

12:30 PM – Quiet/Nap Time

A restful break helps children recharge. Students nap or engage in quiet activities such as reading or drawing based on their needs.

2:00 PM – Snack

An afternoon snack provides another opportunity to refuel and reset for the rest of the day.

2:30 PM – Technology

Children explore age-appropriate, guided technology activities that reinforce learning, digital literacy, and creativity in a developmentally appropriate way.

3:00 PM – Review

The day concludes with reflection, sharing, and reviewing the concepts explored during the day—building confidence and strengthening communication.

3:30 PM – Dismissal

Students prepare to go home with smooth transitions, gathering their belongings and sharing highlights of their day.
